Grass Fed Beef $5.25/lb hanging weight
These are young, tender animals that have had the entire spring and summer to graze on a wide range of forages in our pastures and woodland acreage.
Hamburger Cow $4.25/lb hanging weight
Older cows in our herd must occasionally move on to make room for our next generation of breeding stock. Meat from older, mature cows is known around the world for its intense, rich beef flavor. They are not as tender as younger animals, so the default is full bone-out for hamburger, but custom cutting for other cuts is also an option.
This is a great, economical option for filling your family’s freezer with local 100% grass fed beef.

Butcher fees: $1.35/lb hanging weight
We have our animals processed locally at Malco Buxton’s. Cut and wrap fee is $1.35/lb hanging weight.
You get to fill out your custom cutting instructions right on their website with exactly what cuts you want, in addition to optional organ meats and bones.
Deposits to reserve your beef:
Whole- $1200
Half- $600.

Reserve your beef. Contact us to make your deposit.
Wait for your slaughter date.
Within a few days of your slaughter date, we will send you your hanging weight. The remainder of the payment (minus your deposit) for the animal is due at this time.
Go to the Malco Buxton’s cut list here and fill out your custom cutting instructions.
Wait for the butcher to notify you that your beef is ready for pickup (around 30 days after your slaughter date) and pickup within 7 days of notification. Your cut and wrap fee of $1.35/lb hanging weight is due at pickup.
